How do I send a database to a drive or device?

To send a copy of a FoodWorks database to a drive or device (such as a USB or hard drive)

1. Open the database.
2. On the File menu, click Send Database To, then click a destination.
3. Locate the drive and folder to which you want to copy the database.
4. In the File Name box, type a name for the database, if required.
5. Click Save.

Notes

• The database is copied in a compressed format called a FoodWorks cabinet file (.fwc). To install the database, in Windows File Explorer, double-click the icon and follow the instructions shown.
