How do I see the definition of a nutrient?

To show the definition of a nutrient or component:

1. On the File menu, click Database Properties.
2. Click Nutrients & Components.
3. Click the nutrient or component of interest.

Tips

• To see more nutrients and components, set Show Components to all nutrients available in FoodWorks.

Note

• The information displayed for the nutrient or component can include its full name, short name, the way it is derived and its INFOODS tag name.
