How do I set the general properties for a label?

To set the general label properties for a recipe:

1. Open the recipe.
2. On the FoodWorks toolbar, click Label.
3. Click the General tab to set properties as described below.
4. On the FoodWorks toolbar, click Save.

Properties on the General tab

• Alternative Label Name - By default, in the label name, FoodWorks uses the name of the recipe. Use this option to set an alternative label name to that of the recipe.
• Label Description - Text to display below the label name.
• Serving Size Description - Use to add a description for the serving size e.g. 2 slices.
• Show % (percentage) Daily Intake column - Sets whether this column is displayed.
• Show per 100 mL not per 100 g - Sets whether to display the per 100 mL column.
• Preparation Instructions - Add preparation instructions for the product.
• Storage Instructions - Add storage instructions for this product.
• Message - Text displayed at the bottom of the label.

Tips

• If you do not supply any data for a section then that section is not shown in the label.
• If you cannot see a section of the label that you expect, then check the Label Options dialog to see if it has been de-selected. See Overview - Setting options for all labels.
