To set the general label properties for a recipe:
- Open the recipe.
- On the FoodWorks toolbar, click Label.
- Click the General tab to set properties as described below.
- On the FoodWorks toolbar, click Save.
Properties on the General tab
- Alternative Label Name - By default, in the label name, FoodWorks uses the name of the recipe. Use this option to set an alternative label name to that of the recipe.
- Label Description - Text to display below the label name.
- Serving Size Description - Use to add a description for the serving size e.g. 2 slices.
- Show % (percentage) Daily Intake column - Sets whether this column is displayed.
- Show per 100 mL not per 100 g - Sets whether to display the per 100 mL column.
- Preparation Instructions - Add preparation instructions for the product.
- Storage Instructions - Add storage instructions for this product.
- Message - Text displayed at the bottom of the label.
Tips
- If you do not supply any data for a section then that section is not shown in the label.
- If you cannot see a section of the label that you expect, then check the Label Options dialog to see if it has been de-selected. See Overview - Setting options for all labels.
